Delete your MyWheelz account
You can delete your MyWheelz account and its data at any time. The quickest way is inside the app. If you can't use the app, send us a request below.

1. Delete your account in the app (immediate)
- Open the MyWheelz app and sign in.
- Tap your profile photo at the top right to open your Account.
- Scroll down to Delete account and tap Delete my account.
- Type DELETE and tap Delete forever.
Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out. If you'd like a copy of your records first, use Account → Export my data before you delete.
2. What is deleted
- Your account: your name, email address and profile picture from Google, and your settings.
- Your vehicles, fuel fills, expenses, service records and reminders, and any insurance, PUC and registration details.
- The details of your documents, your verified phone number (if any) and your sign-in sessions.
- Document files in your Google Drive: when you delete in the app, MyWheelz removes them too, if it can reach your Drive. Otherwise you can remove them yourself, as explained in section 4.
What is kept for a limited time
- Backups of our database, for up to 7 days, after which your data is gone from them as well.
- Server logs, for about 30 days. They never contain sign-in tokens, verification codes or phone numbers.
- Usage statistics, only if you allowed them, for up to 14 months. They are linked to a random identifier for the app installation, not to your name or email.
Deleting your app account doesn't remove you from our early-access waitlist. To leave the waitlist, use the unsubscribe link in any of our emails. See our Privacy Policy for more.
3. Can't use the app? Request deletion
If you no longer have the app or can't sign in, fill in the form below with the details of your MyWheelz account.
We delete the account and its data within 5 business days of your request, provided the account has not been used in the 30 days before you send it. This protects your account from requests made by someone else. If the account has been used in that time, we won't delete it: you can delete it straight away in the app instead, or send a new request once it hasn't been used for 30 days.
4. Remove your documents from Google Drive yourself
MyWheelz keeps your document files in a private app folder in your own Google Drive, which we can't reach without you. To remove them at any time:
- Open Google Drive on a computer (drive.google.com) and sign in with the same Google account.
- Click the gear icon, then Settings → Manage apps.
- Find MyWheelz, click Options and choose Delete hidden app data.
