Frequently asked questions
Questions, answered.
What MyWheelz does, how it handles your data, and how to get early access.
What is MyWheelz?
MyWheelz is a logbook for your car and bike. It tracks what you spend on your vehicles, works out your mileage, and keeps insurance, PUC and service dates in view, with your documents safe in your own Google Drive.
The app launches first on Android and isn't publicly available yet. Join the waitlist to hear the moment it's ready.
Can I add cars and bikes?
Yes. You can add cars, motorcycles and scooters, and pick the make and model from a searchable list.
Can I manage more than one vehicle?
Yes. All your vehicles sit in one garage, and each one shows its own mileage, odometer, insurance and PUC status at a glance.
Where are my documents stored?
In your own Google Drive. Your RC, insurance policy, PUC certificate and service bills go into a private folder that only MyWheelz can open. Our servers keep only the details, such as the document type and expiry date.
When you upload a document, MyWheelz reads key details like the policy number and expiry date right on your phone, so your files aren't sent anywhere to be read. You check the details, and it sets the reminder.
Does MyWheelz read my SMS?
No. MyWheelz only sees a payment message when you share it with the app or paste it in. It fills in the amount, date and merchant, saves just the expense, and spots the same payment if you add it twice.
It works with bank, card, UPI and FASTag payment messages.
How do reminders work?
You can set reminders for service, insurance, PUC, registration and tyres, by date or by kilometres. Anything due within 30 days or 1,000 km moves to the top of your Home screen.
Reminders show inside the app. Push notifications aren't available yet.
What happens to my data?
Your documents stay in your Google Drive, documents are read on your phone, and payment messages stay on your phone. Usage statistics are off until you choose to turn them on.
You can export everything to an Excel file whenever you like, or delete your account and all of its data, including the documents in your Drive.
Is MyWheelz available on iPhone?
Not yet. MyWheelz is coming to Android first, and later to iPhone.
When will MyWheelz launch?
We haven't announced a launch date yet. People on the waitlist will be the first to hear when the Android app is ready.
